Q: Does this work on BMW motorcycles? 2011 R1200RT. I'm trying to disable the diesel fuel cutoff.
A: Our software package is the OEM solution for all BMW Group motors, including your BMW motorcycle. ISTAD will cover diagnostics, calibration, battery registration, guided troubleshooting, and wiring diagrams. ISTAP will cover coding, programming, module replacement, and BMW-approved retrofits. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a fix for certain issues due to factors like incorrect procedures or using faulty modules. We can't confirm whether you'll be able to disable the diesel fuel cutoff or not. We're a software business, and our expertise in fixing hardware-related issues is limited, but we are happy to assist whenever possible.
Q: Is coding possible on an E46?
A: You will need ISTAP for coding and programming. For 'custom coding,' we offer BMW tools such as E-SYS, NCSEXPERT, ISTA and INPA.
Q: What cable do I need to make it work with E & F series cars?
A: The best-recommended cables/interfaces for BMW Group motors (for professional use) are:
ICOM A for BMW F series.
ICOM A and ICOM B for BMW E series (ICOM B is needed to access MOST modules).
ICOM A, B, and C for BMW E series models older than 2001.
For personal use, we recommend:
K+DCAN cable for the BMW E series.
ENET cable for the BMW F series.
While K+DCAN and ENET cables will allow you to diagnose, register the battery, read and delete memory errors, and code/program most modules, you'll need the ICOM A and ICOM B cables to cover all modules.
Q: Is this software compatible with UK-registered vehicles? Thank you for your time.
A: Yes, it's a global version and works with UK BMW cars.
